That's 4 of the first 5 from that 2/05 set.
Let's get right to it.

Here's The Cars, a 4th duplicate entry from last Feb's set.

Wang Chung makes it 5, and I have a strong premonition that "Bears" will be tune #10.

Only some footage from "Repo Man" or "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension" can save the set now.  And that never happens.

Ginger's played a Buckaroo Banzai clip in her '84 sets, iirc.

I think it was on McCallister, near Leavenworth.

The one who must not be named made it into the backsell, but at least he wasn't named!

Too True, but I just got the DVD of Buckaroo..., so we can fire that up next time we gather.

My college cronies, the Freaks, bonded on a few things that I was never able to get, and Buckaroo Banzai was chief among them.  I watched the film twice and was bored to sleep each time.  Someone convince me that I should give it another chance!

I'm glad to hear that -- I saw it in a theater in '84 and totally did not get it. The very definition of a cult film, I guess.
