Sad to have missed that.  Bob could have kicked of with "Mony Mony" & played "I Love You" now & I'd have been happier.

I thought I'd BOS'd that but the post disappeared. I steeled myself during Bob's intro, fully expecting "Born to Be Wild" -- "Sookie" was a VERY nice surprise.  And here's a VHM for "Classical Gas"! Woo Hoo!

and now Bob goes all misty-eyed with Dion, "AM&J".

Not many Top Ten singles have harp glissandos (sp?) on them.

"Classical Gas" sounding nice to me this a.m.  Haven't actually heard this for a while.

Yes, I was steeling myself, too.  In fact I was stepping away from my desk to get a drink from the fridge as he said the part about the name change, and was momentarily out of hearing range of my radio.  When I came back to my desk, my reaction was, "Huh? That's not 'Born To Be Wild'?!"

Now, "Livin' in the USA" woulda been better right after "Back in the USSR", no? BOS4 in any case.

Two exceptional sets in a row from Bob.  Tomorrow -- 1986, which doesn't give me hope for a trifecta, but we'll see.
