"Annie Get Your Gun", followed by "Katrinaglass". Guess they're in NYC tonite?

Amusing belly dancers distract me from my wine -- "Take Me I'm Yours", the best so far. If only Rob'd play their Stars-on-45 parody, "Squabs on Forty-Fab".

"If I Didn't Love You" -- a real gem. Cocoa mugs sit side by side.

Might be an early birthday tribute; Difford = 4/11 according to AMG.

"Another Nail for My Heart", another gem from their brilliant late-'70s/early-'80s period.

Idiosyncratic BOS: "Another Nail for My Heart."  Reminds me of the days when I first started listening to 10@10, in late fall 2006, when Dave had Squeeze in very regular rotation.  (Which he doesn't any more: When's the last time we heard "Up the Junction" or "Slap and Tickle"?)  His shows were my first exposure to the band apart from "Tempted" and "Black Coffee in Bed," and I was so impressed that the band's "45s" GH comp became one of the very first CDs I ever bought.  (I didn't convert from cassettes to CDs until 1997.)

My revisionist history speaks volumes.

Let's put a "1996" there, shall we?

I own that 10-inch EP he just referenced.

Happy B-Day to The Peak.
