Doing his best Bob Dylan.

If'n you want to hear Springsteen "doing Dylan"- one simply has to listen to Bruce's first album: "Greetings From Asbury Park". Lotsa good stuff on that.

another BOS to "Seven Bridges Road", which I saw them perform in Cincinnatti on that tour.  It brought the house down in concert.

Going with a BOS tie between the Simple Minds and Springsteen tunes.

As for Seven Bridges Road, I'd give the Eagles props for going out recalling their roots (this was their final single before the mid-90s renaissance) except that it's been sweetened so much you could get diabetes.
Let's get right to it.

If this was the same exact vocal performance, but credited to, say, Pure Prairie League, would you honestly still hate it?

It's got fine harmonies, but (a) I've heard it a gazillion times and (b) the album as a whole shoulda been called Eagles Overdubbed rather than Eagles Live.  It always seemed an odd choice for a single, to me.

But OMG! "Goodbye To You" -- BOS for novelty alone.
