OMG! Ambrosia, "How Much I Feel", covered by the princess herself (in a sing-along stylee) at her gig on Sat nite!  TANC, and BOS2. Yacht Rock lives!

ETA: Just noticed that the lyrics are: "... and we both realize/just how foolish you've been..."

Not "how foolish we've been" -- "how foolish you've been". Nothin' like playin' the blame game!

Rainy day traffic had me late on what was supposed to be my first day back in my usual routine after many travel days.  Made me miss the David Gilmour, which I always liked, but at least I got here in time for Ambrosia.  Dave usually plays two other tunes from this album, but this was the biggest hit, iirc.

What 2 other tunes? I can't think of anything else from this LP that I've ever heard.  At least you didn't miss the Cars

"Mr Blue Sky" has become one of the most-overplayed songs of that year (commercials, movie trailers, etc). I dunno if it tests really well, or if the publisher is really aggressive, or both.

Maybe only one, but I know he's played the title track, "Life Beyond L.A."  Maybe he played "Angola", but on second thought I am doubting it.

Mr. Blue Sky is a welcome tune after 48 hrs of rain.

Hey, how was your thing with Gaz yesterday?

We had a great time sifting thru the voluminous vinyl at Village Music. A shrine to the recorded arts.  Picked up the Aztec 2-Step LP with "... Dean Moriarity" on it for $1.98.
