More cheeze, please: ONJ. Not my fave of hers, but props to Jon Farrar for consistenly producing her hits in a fabulous way.  

BTW, I did see Xanadu at the Castro recently  -- actually, I made it thru an hour of it. Quite jaw-droppingly bad.

Sammy's "Emotion" would have gotten my BOS, I suppose, though it really is impossible for me to tell where her voice ends and the Gibbs' begin.  I'm still not certain she actually appears on the record.

Though I'm largely indifferent to the Dead, Robert Hunter's lyrics often have an amazing visceral effect on me.  He manages to pack the most profound sadness into the most economic language when he's on.  This one, I've never heard, but it reminds me of "Harp Tree Lament."

I take that back: I always forget that the first 45 seconds of "Candy's Room" make me want to have godlike sex with Bruce that. very. moment.
