Any bets?  Classics are often mid 80's.  Sure hope Dave feels better tomorrow.

ETA: it's '91, but at least we're getting "All 4 Love" out of the way early.

Me too. At least we got a quite-inspired 70s set yesterday, so odds are we'd be going to the 80s or 90s today anyway.
Let's get right to it.

KGST Austin, as I noted yesterday, is really really good. Goin' there immediately.

Enter Sandman, following Clarence's rebuttal to Anita.  Nothing much goin' on in this set...all the usual suspects.

Alas. Dave's been kicking total ass lately on his new sets. So, I guess I can live through a Katrina-laden 1991!

I miss the drought years.  My golf course is too wet these days.

Here's the tambourine Beej, that "...off to Never Never Land..." song is called "Enter Sandman", by Metallica.

15 years on, methinks Jesus Jones holds up better than EMF.

Oh, yeah. Right. I knew that. Haste makes waste.

Thanks, Mshray!

Yeah, talk about your by-the-book sets. I'll BOS the Petty tune, King's Highway, just on relative obscurity. Even if it does resonate with Jeff Lynne's patented acoustic rhythm guitar sound.
Let's get right to it.

Ooh, bigtime WOS for Extreme's Wimp Metal anthem.  Not listening anymore - Morphine is on RadioParadise.

It's pretty.  Sometimes that's enough.

As Wimp Metal Anthems go, it's actually one of the prettiest, I'd say. But then there's some pretty dreadful stuff in that category.

Annalisa saves the day yet again.  The Foghead said, "oh, you pick." and with maybe less hesitation than was appropriate she said, "Well then I pick School of Fish."

I would have too!
