Nice start with Ten Years After; on to Graham Nash's "Military Madness", my first BOS of many, I suspect.

BOS2: Howard Cosell in Woody's Bananas.  Genius.  I remember seeing this in a theater at the time and laughing so hard it hurt.

OMGWFT2! Pink Floyd, "St. Tropez".  I thought Dave's '71 classic on Monday was good, but this beats all.

oh hell, 10 Way Tie.

Joni, "A Case of You". Constant as a Northern Star, indeed.  I'm swooning.

From the Faces' "Stay With Me" to the Dead's "Playin' in the Band".  One of the best '71 sets ever.

ending on a high: Nilsson, "Jump Into The Fire".  Even a '90s set from Dave today won't bring me down after this stellar collection.

When Ginger went to '71 a couple months back she played "Sam Stone" from the same album, which is now on my must buy list.

Rhino did a 2-disc anthology about a dozen years ago that includes both songs and all his other classic stuff.
