BOS Alice In Chains "No Excuses".

Another promising career lost to heroin.

It's a helluva drug.  Better to have the "Night in My Veins".  BOS2.

Credit where credit is due: methinks Dave's '94 set was more entertaining.

I'd have to agree at this point.

What was that movie clip from?

Most unexpected of set: Martin Page, "In the House of Stone and Light."  I distinctly remember this being a hit in the summer of '95, though: It was in constant AC rotation along with Sophie B. Hawkins's "As I Lay Me Down" at the luggage store I was working at in Brookline, MA.

BOS: the shoulda-been-a-hit "Night in My Veins" from Chrissie et al.

I'm kinda surprised it didn't even make the top 40.  And from a shoulda-been-a-hit to a shoulda-been-Oscar-nommed Meg Ryan.

And "House of Stone & Light", which WAS a hit, iirc.

You are correct, sir.  Guessing the LP came out late '94.

Mistake #1: buying a book called "The 8 Biggest Mistakes Investors Make" from an 800# they heard on the radio...
