This Allison Krauss "Fill up my stocking" thing -- another in the sexy-come-on-to-Santa genre -- is NTM and kinda nice. But no "Presents for Santa" by Bill Mumy? That's the gold standard in this category.

It's been mostly OK up to song #8, but this Christina Aguilera version of Merry Christmas Baby is shite. Her compulsion to show off her pipes by singing as many notes as possible per word is totally putting my teeth on edge (Whitney Houston ruined R&B singing, as far as I am concerned, and it still hasn't recovered.)

Indeed -- the only song in this otherwise enjoyable set that I had no use for.  I wonder what other themes are in store before Xmas? Country? Novelty/comedy records? Anti-Xmas/Bah! Humbug!-type tunes?

I'm wondering if DW plans a Morey-style "Christmas Card" set with listener greetings?
