BOS the "Coffee Achievers" commercial with ELO -- I remember how ridiculous we thought that was in '84. But it all came true.

VHM Macca & MJ "Say Say Say" --the 2015 version where the vocals are flip-flopped.

once again we get "Number One then... and Number One now!". At least "Say Say Say" was actually #1.. but it's followed by "Glamorous Life" which was not.

Rarity #4 (and another bustout): Eurythmics, "Sexcrime", also the 12" dance version.

DW says this was "banned" by a lot of stations. But I heard it a lot in NYC.

This was a fine set overall.

Movie: Beverly Hills Cop – #1 movie of the year

I'm pretty sure it was 1985, but ok...

EDIT: 12/9/1984... Well, I be damned.

yeah it's tricky -- technically it's the top-grossing movie *released* in '84 but it made most of its money in '85.
