25 May 2015: it's... 1968 rerun
« on: May 24, 2015, 09:58:40 PM »
One of those Memorial Day "dead artists" sets?  Who have we lost so far this year?

AL was subbing for Rosalie Sunday morning -- couldn't tell if she was "live" or "Memorex". Dunno if she's supposed to be on the premises Monday.

ETA: oddly, Renee and NoName are live this morning, despite the holiday.

all of a sudden I heard "Judy in Disguise" and wondered what the hell was going on with the morning show.  Then "Hold Me Tight" and now "Dear Prudence."

ETA: announcer says "1968" and we have Kinks "Waterloo Sunset"

So, maybe Renee and NoName weren't live -- if they were they wouldn't've started 10@10 at 9:45!

Barbarella ad, into Doors "Love Street"

The last word uttered in the ad before the Doors was "Love"

Tommie Smith & John Carlos went to San Jose State.  My friend Frank was on the 4 X 200m relay with them.  At one point they held the world record.

I've been helping Frank get a new company (www.exphand.com) off the ground for over a year now - for sweat equity - and it looks like it's finally going to pay off.  Check it out.

If anyone out there is an accredited investor, this is an amazing investment opportunity.
