I was absolutely certain that the switch would take us to the very first 1982 set, leading with Stray Cats.

so color me gobsmacked as we they went one year earlier.

ETA:  wasn't expecting a brand new set necessarily, but looking at that play list, "Harden My Heart" into Reagan's vision for a world (or at least one that goes back to 1940 like his) into Devo's sardonic/sarcastic "Beautiful World" strikes me as a pretty cool set of segues.

ETA2:  guilty pleasure or not, any set that ends with "Abacab" is okay by me.

So did he forget to turn on the stream? I'm not hearing a thing, although the player seems to be loading fine. Anyone else able to tune in via the web?
Let's get right to it.

Yep, I checked over there after posting that and saw comparable grousing and griping. I guess moving a whole radio station (or four of them) is not an easy thing, stuff gets left behind.

Well I am listening on air, and not taking away anything from my previous post, I will say that the former Seafood Mama winning the Best New Artist Grammy under their new (generic) name of Quarterflash, is one of the worst ever.

And  suddenly it was back, in mid-Police song. As I was in the middle of a phone conversation. I'll be curious to see if we get a live backsell, or if it's the original one from back when.
Let's get right to it.

John Oliver got a gratuitous Stevie bleats like a sheep shot in this last Sunday.  Or maybe the one before.

Basically, this Chinese New Year is the year of the Sheep or the Goat, depending upon who your translator is.  According to John, the term is somewhat generic, referring to any hooved animal that bleats.  So, in a pair of high heels, ...

Kind of low, though, stealing from SP.
