"I turned off the radio".

That's what I used to think he was singing.

20/20 report ---> Buddy Guy with Jeff Beck "Mustang Sally"

I swear this Buddy Guy album shows up in every other 1991 set.

Maybe so, but BOS anyway.  I really don't pay much attention to '91 sets, so this track stood out.  Love me some Buddy Guy and Jeff Beck.  Of course, individual results might vary.

AL: "Did you have fun, trippin' back to '91?"

Unfortunately, no...

ETA: Maybe I need to re-up my recent '91 set...

I'm glad AL is having fun, even if that set was the antithesis of enjoyment.

Don't get me wrong, I am still very glad to have AL back doing 10@10. But let's just say that so far, she hasn't exactly been living up to her potential.
Let's get right to it.

Oh and look who dropped in! Hiya, POC!!!

Hiya, Urth!

POC! Long time, no see, here!

And I'm finally able to access this from work. I'd agree that the set was rather LN-heavy (although not necessarily low on quality).

What About Bob? --> another uber-uber-uber LN: Lenny K.

Seriously, just ONE slice of soul/dance/pop would've improved this set 100%. (No, Mr Kravitz does *not* count)

As crazy as I was about this song and album at the time, and as much as I still love this song I have to agree with you.

OMFG!  What is it about this song?  I've only just recently become aware of it, and that's
because I'm hearing it literally everywhere.  It's like the universe has put it in heavy
rotation.  In the past week I've heard it at the grocery store, multiple times in a department
store, today at Taco Bell... very strange.

Word.  After last week's excellent '71 set, everything else has been decidedly ordinary.
