Well, I'm here to get Peaked. It's 1980 today.  Which apparently is as far back as they go.  That's gotta mean serious Katrina-ism over the long haul , no?

Appropriately, we start with "I Can't Remember" (their target demo was barely born on '80 -- LOL!).

I missed the set -- busy today -- but if 1980 is as early as they go, what's their most  recent?  The repetition level must be obscene.

The jock before Mr Arrow referred to 10@10 as "10 great songs from one great year in the '80s", and since all the sets I know about this week were '80s, I'm assuming thats where they're centered. And yes, that would mean hitting every year twice a month.

OMFG!  Did he really just call it "Ode to Billie Joel"?

I thought maybe I mis-heard... but I guess he did! But then Dean on CG always calls Mr Joel "Billy Joe", so it balances out.

I saw this before -- posted here?  Anyway, it makes me too sad, some of these.

The one that's freaking me out right now?  "Everyone who knew me before 9/11 thinks I'm dead."  Much as people fantasize about completely starting over again, new identity and all, I can't fathom anyone actually going through it.

are you assuming all these "secrets" are true?  

Bet somebody in Hollywood takes that idea and tries to pitch it as a TV series...

in case you didn't know, The Bone is doing the A-Z thang this week (they're somewhere around J at the moment).  Looking at the playlist on their site, they're unearthing some relics -- Frijid Pink! (sorry I missed that.)  

Which reminds, KFOG is overdue for their own alphabetized trek.

I'll head over to the Bone after CG finishes playing "My Boy Lollipop".

glad y'all had fun (loved the Kirk/Spock/McCoy-O-Rama!), but it sounds like it was the usual by-the-numbers '87 set to me.  Glad I'm not working THIS Sat -- I may bypass the marathon entirely unless tomorrow is super fab.
