Damn cow orkers. I tuned in late and missed the club announcement. What did Dave say?

And I quote: Beej is 40. Beej is 40. Beej is 40. Beej is 40. Beej is 40. Beej is 40.

That was most of it.

A strong BOS candidate, and only the second song of the set!  Very fine indeed.

And now Badfinger, Day After Day. Strong set so far. Keep it goin', Dave!

Finally cut it off in 96, and met my wife (who likes long hair) a month later. Oh well. Timing is everything.

Hmmmm. I see writing your own html code doesn't do a damn thing in this app. OK, I'll do it the easy way and use the formatting buttons above instead.

Stream of Consciousness / Beej in the birthday club?
« on: January 21, 2005, 09:59:43 AM »
I told Dave his day was on Sunday, but I guess the mention is what counts. Was hoping for a "birthday bucket bonanza" '65 set, but a 70s VT will be just fine.

Will that be flat-head or Phillips?

Last weekend I was in Santa Cruz doing some computer stuff and I went to Costco to get something to eat. Differrent people down there. Lottsa gray hair pony tail types. I liked it.

Not just Santa Cruz. Head north from SF and they get more plentiful the further you go (a few in Marin, more in Sonoma Co., lots in Mendo).

I had one (not grey tho--still waiting to go grey) about ten years back, but as Rod said, it got to be a pain. My hair is fine and straight, and it would just hang there if I didn't have it pulled back. Finally cut it off in 96, and met my wife (who likes long hair) a month later. Oh well. Timing is everything.

hope i dont waste the entire day posting on the internet...

yeah, too true.  I'll be in the car all day, driving to LA, so I'll check in from time to time.  I wonder how much lost productivity to the economy is caused by Dave Morey and his marvelous 10@10?

I shudder to think. I am just glad that I/we have employers that either don't pay attention or don't care.
