Hey Steve, long time!  How ya been? Was thinking about you when we saw all those traffic jams trying to get out of Houston last month.

I was smart enough to watch the traffic reports and not go out in get stuck for 18 hours and run out of gas in what I'd heard before was the "world's worst traffic jam", which was incredibly accurate... at one point I-45 was backed up for 100 miles of traffic!  I just stayed home and watched the madness from the comfort of my living room

How much notice did you give hm? Probably needs at least two days notice.

True... I did send the email on the 8th, it was noonish or so but i guess i should've done it sooner.

Maybe I shouldn't have requested what i did... either a vertical tasting of #10s from 72-73 (as opposed to what we hear all the time, #1s) or, a 1985 set.

argh... just woulda been nice to have gotten a mention. c'est la vie...

Don't remind me.  this time in 95 i was getting ready to graduate, going thru hell with my last semester, and trying to land interviews before I moved to NYC. Ahh... what a city.

I think I (and hopefully someday we) will get the hell out of Texas, and probably end up back in NYC or SF.  I haven't visited yet but I might go see the Golden Gate Bridge sometime over the summer...

I've been absent from the list... FINALLY, all my documents have been converted to Indesign.  I never thought the day would come that a program would trump Quark, but Indesign is coming pretty close, though I've only been working a few weeks with it.

i wonder if Dave would do a 1985 set for my bday on the 10th
