indeed -- astounding how many folks request overplayed warhorses and songs AL has played recently. No wonder Dave was so cranky when it came to requests and just tended to ignore them. FWIW, I asked for
Macca, "No More Lonely Nights"
Culture Club, "Miss Me Blind"
New Edition, "Mr Telephone Man" or "Cool it Now"
But I was quite lucky last week so no expectations here.

84 makes me cranky. AL is too young to be cranky. I thought I liked Sugar Walls but checked it out on You Tube and it was not as good as I remembered. I was more into soul at that point than the eurythimics and flock of Seagulls doo that was being played.

Yep... "They Don't Know", good song that it is, should probably be retired from 10@10.
On the other hand, others did request "Go Insane", "Seven Chinese Brothers", "Real Men Don't Kill Coyotes", and "Breakdance".

Plus, we heard it 3 weeks ago in a rerun 1983 set on Sept 1st.

Annalisa is too young to be cranky? I don't think you're ever too young to be cranky. Just out of curiousity, how old do you think she is? I'd guess mid-40s, say, 46 or 47.

I think this one just took the title for 'most unnecessary' ;)

Cyndi Lauper...
Lots of good songs, but this set is turning out to be rather mainstream, even a bit painfully so.

VHM Ms Lauper, but I'm really hoping for another rarity or 2.

Love her, love this album. But, agreed - it's become something you'd hear on KOIT, like, 20 times a day.
