I'm gonna guess:

ELO, "Showdown"
Al Wilson, "Show and Tell"
Sir Elton, "B & the Js"

EJ knows his BJ's.

I'll predict the orig 45 of "Rebel Rebel" and "The Bitch is Back". But a fab bustout-obscurity would make my day.

In that case I'm gonna guarantee you that Dave plays the biggest '74 Katrina - "Spiders & Snakes".

I'd normally root for "My Girl Bill", but having heard it on the retro-AT40 thisweekend, I don't need to hear it for an other year at least.

"It's wonderful to be here.  It's certainly a thrill.  You're such a lovely audience."

I predict an excellent set because Dave is warming up with some Yay! the Beatles at 9:50.

Chalk one up for Alicat--Dark Horse.

I'll be a cool jerk...

What was it with his voice during this time? Sounds like he's been gargling razor blades or something.

Okay, how about 10 times, incl. once since the last update.

ETA: I have now cleaned it up, but there were entries under Hues Corp. and Hues Corporation.

Barry was sounding pretty good to me today, too.

VHM Skynyrd.

And in full agreement with Dave about the Newhart theme--bet it has a strong showing in BOS votes. Best horn arrangement on TV during that time.

ICGEOYLB is only heard today for the 3rd time in the Db era, and not since Oct '06.  "It's Ecstasy..." & "Never, Never Gonna..." are more frequent, but not enough to be Katrinas.

Another BOS to Joni for the superlative Help Me--just a great melding of jazz and rock, predating Steely Dan's jazzier endeavors by a couple years.

Don't it fe-e-e-e-e-l good...

"Because of low royalties, we can't reveal the artists"?  That took some stones.  As for "Werewolf," I bet it was a ripoff of "Frankenstein" designed to toss a few royalty bucks in a friend's direction.
