Ahhhh, Leah!  I had a girlfriend in high school around 1979-1980 named Leah.  Ahhhhh.

Ah. it's Katreah.  But a still-great single, IMHO.

"Ah! Leah!" is just about my favorite song of this year.  Which unfortunately means this set probably has nowhere else to go from here but down.

Any other Billboard hits come to mind with 2 separate exclamation points?

Tubes, "Amnesia", another Katrina, or it seems so -- we heard it in a recent Morey visit to this year, no?

I know it's hip to dislike latter-day Tubes, but I have good memories of "The Completion Backwards Principle".  My freshman RA played it a lot.  She played tenor in the LSJUMB with me and was a personal hero.  Well, maybe hero is the wrong word...

Hope they can turn things around. I went last night and they looked positively lethargic. Lots of booing throughout the game, particularly when Benitez came in to pitch the 9th. To his credit, he did set them down in order, but the game wasn't on the line either.

Have fun--and a few amber beverages--for me!

I agree.  It's pretty much boilerplate '81 from Dave. A surprise would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath

Which reminds me: I ran into the great disappearing Beej on the N Judah the other night, and he sends greetings to all and says he misses us, but his morning work sched now keeps him hopping during the 10am hour, and his sweetie is keeping him hopping during his off hours. (Oh, and his murder-mystery side job is getting a bit more frequent as well.) He said he'd try to check in now and again, but he wanted me to let you know he hadn't dropped off the planet.

OK, BOS Hall & Oates. Just cuz.

This got enough airplay back in the day on KSHE in St. Louis.  Not a Narada for me.  I still kinda like it, but not enough to call it a guilty pleasure.

By the way, before I forget, a belated RIP for Vince Welnick.  I read a really sad account of him in the Chron a few weeks ago.  Apparently, the Tubes didn't mean anything to him.  Only playing in the Grateful Dead had any significance, at least in his last years.

Except that 4 of the past 10 times Dave played this, he did so in a 1980 set.
