You mean this ain't a woman? Impressive. This song sounds like it was written by the automatic disco song generator. Gotta see if I can find it...

Well, actually Syl doesn't do much of the singing on this one, it's mostly the 2 Tons/Weather Girls.

Pretty sure we heard this one last time we visited this year, not long ago. I won't bore you with the same comment as before. I will however, agree this time that the harmonies are really sweet, though I suppose it's easier to harmonize when all the voices are the same person.
-
OMGWTF! In a day with at least one cover in each set, the biggest and most welcome surprise is Eruption's "I Can't Stand Lorraine."
-

Yes, unless you're Paul Kantner.

ditto, bub. "Like a window, you ain't got nothin' to say" well, uh, duh.

Was that Lorraine out there in the rain?
Bringin back sweet memories........

Definitely one of the worst lines ever, I have to acknowledge.
-
where have all the disco's gone? Thems was good times.....
don't answer that.
-
VHM to ELO's "Turn to Stone." After hearing their songs in a huge auditorium at the EMP conference, I have a reinvigorated appreciation of them.

... they became "New Wave Dance Clubs" around 1981.
well, I guess ELO was inevitable.
-
Have any of you ever called in with a WOS vote? I've never dared to do so. (Hits From Hell sets don't count, of course.)

I'd imagine hearing them on huge speakers in a big room was quite enjoyable -- Mr Lynne having been called, alternately, the new Paul McCartney and the new George Martin back in the day.

No.

Fine guitar work in the set.
I saw Boston about a year ago in Concord. First and only show I've seen at the Pavillion. I remember mentioning their female guitarist. They rocked way back when and still putting on a great show.
This is such a great tune to crank loud.
-
ooohhhhh. Boogie shoes moving again. This time I can be a little more obvious than when at work.
happy cat.........

I'm with ya babe. Dance the beat in the disco heat. Can't remember the last time I listened to the entire replay 2 nites in a row. A better-than-average week so far.
Notice Lily Tomlin censoring herself by saying "I worry that some of you came here only to meet". Meet? "...only to get laid" would've nailed it and been a much funnier line.
-
7. Dire Straits - Six Blade Knife
8. Gerry Rafferty - Right Down the Line
jeez, two totally killer tunes. How often would you ever hear these two songs in a row, except on 10@10?
-
I think this is my fave Billy Joel tune.
Sinners are much more fun.

Speak for yaself. My evening segued from romantic interludes back to the computer so I can finish transcribing interviews for this new Voice article I'm working on. No rest for the wicked, it ain't easy being Gaz, etc. But do note that Sade's Lovers Rock (her only album since 1991) is some EXCELLENT baby-making music.
