8/1:
On todays edition of Soundwaves 10@10, well hear songs from iconic artists who all had one
thing in common: they thought they were to the point in their careers where they could stretch,
or experiment, or grow lazy or worse, cover classic songs! From Madonna and Tom Jones, to
Michael Jackson, Elvis and Styx, these are the moments when it all went wrong!

Wow, I take *GREAT* exception to the Tom Jones selection -- his version of "Kiss" is awesome. The rest are pretty much crappy. (Tho' Neil D's "Heartlight" is a guilty pleasure for me, and "In the Ghetto" gets a pass for being from a different time)

8. Neil Diamond Heartlight

Agreed on Jones. I honestly think "In The Ghetto" is one of the best songs Presley ever did. "Both Sides Of The Story" may have been a bit over the top, but I enjoyed it, and I've never understood the hate for RHCP.
I will say that the Sheryl Crow and Madonna covers were absolute embarrassments.
