Will DW do a Hits From Hell set?
He did for the Fri 13 in May. So I'm assuming he will again. And MLK on Monday.

It's HfromH! Listening now...

The set from last May for comparison
1. Paper Lace, The Night Chicago Died
2. Black Eyed Peas, My Humps
3. Bobby Goldsboro, honey
4. Black Lace, Agadoo
5. Starland Vocal Band, Afternoon Delight
6. William Shatner, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
7. Pat Boone, Enter Sandman
8. Starship, We Built This City
9. Richard Harris, MaCarthur Park
10. Sailor, Danger on the Titanic

Well, the "Hit" designation may be a stretch for some of these, but Britney's "Satisfaction" certainly is egregious.
-
And Mr. Rachmaninoff would be most put off to hear that "All By Myself" is a HfH.

Rock fans tend to hate slow ballads (except for power ballads) and aren't interested in differentiating between good ballads and icky ones, so this one has always been on a lot of folks' HFH lists, sadly.
I see 3 repeats from May's set which seems unnecessary to me. Plenty of potential awful songs out there. I don't receive the Soundwaves emails -- did he solicit suggestions for this set? Were that many folks clamoring to hear "Afternoon Delight" for the umpteenth time?

I figured there would be some Rasperries apologists comments here.
;-)

"Seasons in the Sun" is mostly a sledgehammer for me. I can see myself in 73-74 sorting mail in the middle of the night at Rincon Annex.

I get the emails, but never read them carefully enough to see if DW was requesting any input. I kind of ignore them because they link to the Mixcloud site which doesn't have the setlist included.
