DW's website is temporarily down. Not sure if there's a Labor Day set on tap.

OK, the website's back up. and despite the fact that he calls it "Ten 'working' songs", it's mostly songs about Fridays, Saturdays, and weekends. Er, whatever.

Like Mike said, mainly a glorification of NOT working.
1. Loverboy, Working For The Weekend
2. Queen, Lazing on a Sunday afternoon
3. Beat Farmers, Lost Weekend
4. Elton John, Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting
5. Debbie Deb, Lookout Weekend
6. Vandenberg, Friday night
7. The Cure, Friday I’m in Love
8. Earth, Wind & Fire, Saturday Nite
9. Bay City Rollers, Saturday Night
10. Katy Perry Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)
BONUS: The Toyes, Smoke Two Joints
BONUS: Todd Rundgren, Bang the Drum All day

That's weird because I'm hearing a totally different playlist:
1. The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
2. Elvis Costello - Welcome To The Working Week
3. Bruce Springsteen - Working On The Highway
4. Dolly Parton - 9 To 5
5. Donna Summer - She Works Hard For The Money
6. John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band - Working Class Hero
7. Styx - Blue Collar Man
8. The Members - Working Girl
9. Bangles - Manic Monday
10. Huey Lewis & The News - Workin' For A Livin'

Yeah I was just tipped via 'snipeland connection that the posted list was not played. Went to see if they'd changed the list since this morning and the website is down again...

Annnnd now it's not again. I'm curious which of those sets will be on it when it does come back up. Weird.

That's what I'm seeing too, at nearly 11:30. Listening to yesterday's set (the one that starts with Hard Day's Night) via MixCloud but no access to the SounwavesTV page.

I'm wondering if the first list (the Fridays/Saturdays/weekends one) is one he put together for the beginning of a holiday weekend and posted accidentally. Or maybe he thought better of running 2 themes sets in a row and did '82 on Friday instead.

the Soundwaves page is back up again. the "wrong" setlist is still posted, but the player plays the set that begins with "Hard Days Night"

Enjoying Styx's "Blue Collar Man". Wonder if he'll play BTO's "Blue Collar". That would be different.
-
Enjoyed The Members (heh) - I'm in Love with a Working Girl.
Manic Monday not really required, but pleasant enough.

Weird, horny version of Huey's "Working for a Livin'". NTM.
