Title: 21 Dec 2015: it's... 1992
Post by: RGMike on December 20, 2015, 09:09:50 PM
Wondering what the week will bring, and when we'll get the Xmas set. Assuming it's Thurs, Christmas Eve, since (if tradition holds) KFOG will go all-Holiday Thurs afternoon around 3, until mid-afternoon Fri, and then the Xmas 10@10 gets repeated Fri nite.

It also occurs to me that we could get a first-day-of-Winter set, which would be swell.

I'd be completely down with that, but given the themey-ness of last week and an impending Xmas set, I don't know how strong our chances are for another non-year-based set.

Ride, "Twisterella"

Yeah, I liked that one too. Far more than the song that followed it (Right Said Fred).

BOS, Los Lobos, "That Train Don't Stop Here Anymore"

What the heck was Steven Wright doing DJing this ancient song? Is this pulled directly out of Reservoir Dogs?

Enjoyed the Reservoir Dogs clips throughout, but I'm not wild about slipping in "Little Green Bag" is (even with the intro from the movie that ID's it as a song from 1970).
