Now playing: PG&E, "Are You Ready" (the long version!).  This, friends, is what apocalypse sounds like.  I get very uneasy every time I hear this.

Yes, but just imagine him singing "She's a Bad Mama Jama (She's Built, She's Stacked)."

Or imagine him saying "New York Fucking City!"

Ah, no, I guess not.  But this crap I'm working on right now really sucks.  What's a good song for when you're in over your head?

That works.  Or the Theme from Mission Impossible.

Your mission, mr phelps, should you be insane enough to accept it...

poc, there's an Aretha Franklin documentary on BBC6 at 1:30.

They've been pretty interesting (nice to hear Tom Robinson getting work) but their "album of the week" is the new Bjork, who I find un-freakin-listenable.

The Commodores, "Easy": "Everybody wants me to be what they want me to be."

The Cure, "Never Enough": "One more time to get it right, one more time to kill / Whatever I do, it's never enough."

Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, "Circle": "I quit, I give up / Nothing's good enough for anybody else, it seems."

As you can tell, this is a topic very near and dear to me.   :?
