I have to assume we'll get '90s today -- we avoided them all last week.
on the money: 1998. TOTHK: "Jump Jive & Wail". Not an auspicious start IMHO.

Sister Hazel "Gold Dust Woman"
I'm assuming a Fleetwood Mac cover - interesting choice.

Lacks goatishness. And not in a good way.

I always found Sister Hazel pretty worthless, but this puts them in a whole new category of awful.

What would you like to hear in a '98 set?
A Soul Patrol put together by Dave in '98. ;)
Actually, Peter Wolf came out with a terrific album in '98. I'd want to hear "I'd Rather Be Blind, Crippled and Crazy" off of Fool's Parade.
-
What would you like to hear in a '98 set?
I never had a '98 wish list, except for the Mavericks "Dance the Night Away", which I actually got AL to play once.
-
Renee's sittin' there doin' nothin' (her words)...
-
Renee: BOS Sarah McLachlan "Adia" by a landslide
-
What would you like to hear in a '98 set?
There were good songs in 98, but we'll have to wait till I get home this evening to come up with a good list.
Off the top of my head:
"Ray Of Light", Madonna
"There Goes The Neighborhood", Sheryl Crow
"Too Close", Next
"Intergalactic", Beastie Boys
"Hooch", Everything (which got an AL play)
-
1. Jump Jive An Wail - Brian Sezter Orchestra
(Movie: Something About Mary - Franks and Beans)
2. Special - Garbage
3. Perfect - Smashing Pumpkins
(commercial: AOL 4.0)
4. Given to Fly - Pearl Jam
5. Gold Dust Woman - Sister Hazel
6. Father of Mine - Everclear
(News: Bill Gates gets a pie in the face)
7. Deep Dish - Ani DiFranco
8. Out Of My Head - Fastball
9. Adia - Sarah McLachlan
10. Save Tonight - Eagle-Eye Cherry

Well, it wasn't as bad as last week's 2003 set... which is about the best I can say about it.
-
What would you like to hear in a '98 set?
I used to request Public Enemy's He Got Game, Angel or Tear Drop by Massive Attack, Sky Is a Landfill or Everybody Here Wants You by Jeff Buckley, and anything from Air's Moon Safari album. I also like Big Fingers' Madonna, Beastie Boys, and Hole suggestions.

This wasn't bad, except for that awful Sister Hazel thing, and being a bit too snoozy all around (as is the case with most suspected-Rosalie-produced-sets.) The Ani tune was surprisingly listenable. They need to stop playing that Garbage remix during 10@10. BOS Pumpkins.
