Y'know, I was really hoping the Peppers would take the opportunity of their Super Bowl appearance on the 10th anniversary of Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" to revisit their own past and bust out the socks one last time.

KTVU quake coverage --> Satriani? Eric Johnson? I always confuse the 2

I think this is Satriani. Johnson was Cliffs of Dover; I don't think he got much airplay beyond that.

ETA: Damned if I could tell you what it's called though. Sat's songs don't differ much from one another.

Didn't Sunday refer to Satriani as "The Kenny G of Guitar Players"? Can't say I disagree.

LN-infinity: Bonnie, "Nick of Time"  This set has been beyond uninspired. Like one of DM's autopilot '89 sets.

Saved By the Bell theme gets a VHM.

No idea who performed this, but it always evokes an image of Kenny Loggins being backed by the News w/o Huey.

LOL.  That might be an overstatement, but he does *look* like Kenny G.

I don't usually care for Satriani much either, but I was swayed some watching the Montrose Tribute show (I think it was on Palladium).  He comes out with Sammy and the rest of the original band, and they tear it up, pretty much playing the entire first album.

I'll be the contrarian here and say that I really enjoy this track... don't know how representative
it is of his catalog and I'm not qualified to judge is guitar ability, but I like this one.

Especially since just about anything from the album besides these two would be a great
"deep track."  But Roam just contributes to this set's high LNQ.
