sitting here, supposed to be getting ready for classes, rocking out to Pink Floyd's "Free Four!"

Just this last Sunday, I quoted from this in my church discussion class, and they all dug it:

Life is a short warm moment
Death is a long cold rest
You get your chance to try in a twinkling of an eye
80 years with luck or even less.

I just got back from a picnic where we celebrated a guy's 90th birthday.  It was moving when we did the cake and the song.  Life IS a long song...
