Where will Renee take us today?
ETA: TOTHK - Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch featuring Loleatta Holloway "Good Vibrations" - 1991!
-
A fine start -- at least this isn't an overplayed triple-A staple.
-
Big Audio Dynamite II "The Globe"
-
And speaking of overplayed KFOG staples: B.A.D. uber-LN1.
-
Siouxie and the Banshees "Kiss Them For Me"
-
BOS Siouxie, "Kiss Them For Me", tho' it's hardly a rarity.
-
Mikhail Gorbachev into Electronic "Get The Message"

-
Mikhail Gorbachev into Electronic "Get The Message"
BOS2 -- I think we've heard it before but it's certainly rare in this context.
-
Roxette "Joyride"
(http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-v3FI_eTkf0U/Tf-wBs0dDoI/AAAAAAAABL8/TObhfmb_z10/s320/tn_Roxette%2B-%2BJoyride%2B%2528UK%2BAnd%2BSweden%2BMaxi%2BCD%2BSingle%2529.jpg)
Bustout?

Roxette "Joyride"
Bustout?
I think maybe it's been played once. But still WOS from me -- I never understood the love my pure-pop-aficionado friends have for Roxette.
-
"What does he do, this man you seek?" BOS3 Hannibal and Clarice.
-
Silence Of The Lambs into Smashing Pumpkins "Rhinoceros"
Another bustout?
-
Roxette "Joyride"

Bustout?
Absolutely it's a bustout. I would've noticed. BOS, of the week!
-
Pearl Jam "Alive"
-
Pearl Jam "Alive"
inevitable, given their local appearance. And actually one of their more bearable numbers, to the ears of this non-fan.
-
Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog into Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
-
wow, only our 2nd LN (tho' it's pretty egregious): Nirvana.
-
Spin Doctors "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"
-
LN3 (and we were doing so well, too): SpinDocs.
-
Wish Renee would have gone into deeper album cuts from Nirvana and Spin Doctors...

Wish Renee would have gone into deeper album cuts from Nirvana and Spin Doctors...
OK for Nirvana, but the quality of Spin Doctors songs falls off pretty sharply after this song.
-
Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians "So You Think You're In Love"

"What Time Is It?" would've been more than acceptable.

True, an amusing ditty.

Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians "So You Think You're In Love"
BOS4. 3 LNs and 7 perfectly acceptable not-overplayed songs. Her best ratio in an early-'90s set in quite a while, I'd say. Nice to know pop cheeze is still allowed. Maybe Pugh had an epiphany while he was away.

True, an amusing ditty.
The Spin Doctors seemed to alternate between being light rockers with a slight political edge and the world's worst jam band ("Shinbone Alley" is comically awful, IMHO).

Renee: BOS Pearl Jam; VHM Nirvana; Renee's personal VHM Marky Mark and his underwear ads :P

I think their guitarist is pretty good, but the singer is crap. When he tries to improvise anything, I just wanna run screaming with my hands over my ears.
