Do we get Thanksgiving today or tomorrow?
eek: 2003. It's official -- the '00s are coming up much more frequently.
I'm guessing we'll get our first 2004 set very early in January.
And I'm outta here...

ETA: Indeed, it was a single in... 2005
-
1. Those commercials sounded WAY too much like real commercials to the point where I reloaded my stream
2. This single is from 2005

BOS. These guys are very good, and this is a worthy cover.
-
3/5 bluesy swing tracks so far, this sounds like another Rosalie-produced set.
-
Gotta give her credit for pulling out infrequently tracks from Train and John Mayer, when there are some really egregious LNs available. And that Guster track was good too.

Saddam Hussein captured into Mindy Smith "Come To Jesus"

6. John Mayer - Bigger Than My Body
7. Mindy Smith - Come to Jesus
8. Death Cab for Cutie - The Sound of Settling

Y'know...not a single egregious LN. Even the songs by overplayed artists aren't songs that are overplayed.
-
BOS the Darkness. A fab record that never really got its due in the US (a UK #1).
Probably haven't heard that Mindy Smith song since '03.
-
Renee: BOS The Darkness
-
"Get To Me" was from 2003's "My Private Nation", even if it didn't receive significant AAA/HAC airplay until 2005, due to it being featured in a Cingular ad.

Yes, I was wondering whether or not my interest in this song was just slavish devotion to Love, but I don't like UFO's version as much, and I think Calexico 'gets it' on this version. I've enjoyed seeing them on PBS, and a couple other albums too.

I don't know why, but the fact that 2003 was ten years ago makes me feel old more than the
fact that 1973 was forty years ago.
