BOS1 Patti Smith, tho' "People Have the Power" is rather well-travelled, 10@10-wise (mostly thanks to AL).

Talking Heads, good, but yeah, LN
Patti Smith: Still hasn't worn out her welcome.

Tracy Chapman: Yeah the song's ok, but I'm not exactly jazzed about hearing it.
-
Well, it *is* Election Day: "People have the Power" --> "Talkin' 'Bout a Revolution".
But I've little use for Ms Chapman's KFOG-playlist staple at this point. LN2.

John Cougar Mellencamp "Rave On"
VHM for being a rarity.
But this was a pretty unnecessary set all around.

At least Renee didn't go for the Cocktail trifecta with the Beach Boys "Kokomo"!

This set was even more easy listening than most late '80's sets. Was easy listening the big genre of the late '80's because that's all we get on 10@10. I don't remember it that way but I was in my late teens/early 20's then, so I tended to avoid easy listening songs.
