Yay! This bodes well... (trying not to jinx it)

Soylent Green into Three Dog Night "Shambala"

Soylent Green is people, people! Still tastes better than edamame.
VHM 3DN, in Shambala. Everyone is so... high.
-
Soylent Green into Three Dog Night "Shambala"
They love that stuff!
-
BOS2 King Harvest -- always loved this one.
-
King Harvest "Dancing In The Moonlight"
-
Nixon/Watergate into Stealers Wheel "Stuck In The Middle With You"
-
Stealer's Wheel is kinda LN for me. But a fine track nonetheless.

Led Zeppelin "The Rain Song"

Mama told me not to listen to this song. But still pleasant.

BOS3 Zep, of course.

BOS3 Zep, of course.
One of their best, methinks.
-
Bruce Springsteen "Rosalita"
-
BOS4 Brooooooooooooooooooce -- rejoicing in Snipes-land.
"closets are for hangers" indeed.
-
Led Zeppelin "The Rain Song"
I was at the Bridge School benefit concert last Sunday -- Heart covered this song. A really good cover -- Ann Wilson does a great Robert Plant. :-)
Definitely a highlight in IMHO was a generally overlong and boring concert.

Oh, too bad about that. I'd love to see Heart, and seeing them cover their main inspiration would be great.

Joe Namath/Noxema commercial into ZZ Top "La Grange"
Haha, "watch Joe Namath get crrrreamed!". BOS for "La Grange". Wouldn't have guessed this was so old.

Yeah, Heart was a real highlight of the show. A high energy set (Ann can still TOTALLY belt it out) in an otherwise very low energy show...

Paul McCartney & Wings "Helen Wheels"
-
Ann Wilson does a great Robert Plant. :-)
glad she's embraced her inner Percy. She got in trouble for saying, back in the '70s, that she wanted to *be* Plant -- some people said "how dare she?" and she sorta waked it back.
-
Steely Dan "Show Biz Kids"
-
BOS5 The Dan.

Jeez, some people. She didn't say she was going to be him, did she? Can't you have an idol anymore?
-
BOS5 The Dan.
Yessssssss! Not one of my favorite tunes, but pretty rare on the radio.

I wanted to be Jimmy Page. Nobody cared.
BOS, LZ of course.

Totally! And don't forget the shape-e-ly bodies.

Ringo Starr "Photograph"
Great song. And it's soooo George.

Renee: Bruce beats Frank by one vote; BOS Springsteen; VHM Zappa

!973 saw the release of two of the best Jefferson Airplane albums, and neither has ever
gotten any play on 10@10. It's a shame that so much of this local band's catalog has been
ignored on the show. AL was starting to rectify that, and I believe that if her reign was
longer we would have eventually heard something from Thirty Seconds Over Winterland and
Baron von Tollbooth & the Chrome Nun.
