I'm guessing it's a '90s day, but I'd be glad to be wrong.
ETA: close enuf; it's '89.
-
Not very wrong. The awfully frequently visited 1989.
-
BOS for the Pixies. Where is everybody?
-
been in a meeting -- not sorry to miss '89, unless she miraculously plays Was/Not Was or Kon kan

I'm big on Was (Not Was) but never heard of Kon Kan. Not excited about Adrian Belew.

BOS for Stone Roses. NTM.
-
The Stone Roses are turning into a late 80s/early 90s "The Smiths" of 10@10 in that it's a shameless attempt to spice up a generally lackluster set.

Maybe so, but it works for me. How about this NTM Tears for Fears track? "Advice for the Young At Heart"?. Jazzy!

What? No snarky comments about Don Henley? I don't need to defend this great track?
:) ;) :D

Fine. LN Don Henley, well-written and well-performed track it may be.
Bruce Hornsby: One of the era's most underappreciated writers. Discuss.

Rarities, but each had two spins in the AL era. (TFF appeared on one set, but it got repeated.)

How many times have I said it's great? Very many. If he'd never been an Iggle, this and "Boys Of Summer" would've certified his greatness. But in 10@10 and Triple-A Radio terms, it's uber-unnecessary.
