BOS "Meadow", my second favorite Joe Walsh composition, somehow I find this very atmospheric even though it's trying to be a power ballad.

BOS #2, George, "Give Me Love (Give Me Pace on Earth)".

Had a row with the spouse last night, I need all the peace I can get.

:-)

I remember disliking this song at the time -- I thought it sappy and simple-minded, not one of George's best, lyric-wise.  We almost never hear anything else from this LP.

Dude! it's ELP-rog Rock!

Both are '73 releases, hard to say if one was recorded after hearing the other.  So maybe they were each channeling something else?

BOS #3 - ELP "Karn Evil #9"  (aka "Welcome Back My Friends")

proxy of cairo (and BOS for me too): "Bhoddisatva", which I've undoubtedly misspelled.

is Bob on a Pink Floyd tours theme this week?  2nd day in a row he mentioned one in the first sweep.

BOS #4 "Boddhisatva".  I love the piano trills up and down just there.

Bob needs to freshen up his patter -- I recognize a LOT of his "fun facts" getting repeated verbatim every time the same year comes up.  Surely something else besides Graham Parsons' body being stolen & burned happened in '73.

yes, a truly excellent song, in the story sense.  I really get the feeling of who the characters in the song are.  thanks RG for getting JB's back on this one; sometimes I feel alone in that!
