Ultimate crowd pleaser clip

Sounds like something I've heard too many times before. LN, but interesting that we got a semi-lengthy clip before the first song.
-
The Cars "Drive"
-
uber-LN Cars (2nd day in a row!) "Drive".
-
The GS's are saying it's a repeat. Looks like this one: (11/15/12)
1. Bruce Springsteen - Cover Me
2. The Cars - Drive
3. General Public - Tenderness
(News: Miss America - Vanessa Williams nude pics.)
4. Echo & The Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
(News: Ronald Reagan in a landslide)
5. The Pretenders - A Thin Line Between Love And Hate
6. The Thompson Twins - Hold Me Now
7. David Bowie - Blue Jean
8. U2 - Pride (In The Name of Love)
(Commercial: TRANFORMERS!!!)
9. Alphaville - Big In Japan
10. Tina Turner - What's Love Got To Do With It
I don't remember that voice (Renee?) saying "10 great songs from one great year" as a 10@10 sweeper. Did it get used and discarded, are they re-doing the sweepers, or did I just not notice before?
-
The Cars "Drive"
Other band/verb combos:
The Rolling Stones "Gather No Moss"
The Beatles "Roll a Dung Ball"
Madonna "Conceives Without Intercourse"
-
LN2: Gen'l Pub. I'll try not to have something spiteful pop out.

OMFG, it is indeed a rerun -- KFOG's TuneGenie player has "10@10 TUESDAY" listed as the song currently playing :P~
On the one-year anniversary of Renee's debut, she goes with a "classic"? ::)

yes, I've heard it. It's the KFOG "female" heard on various promos, methinks. Is Renee off or is there a staff meeting going on?
other then this fab Echo/B'men BOS, I don't really need to hear the rest of this.

The station should at least announce a repeat. Did Gory mention anything?

Well said... :-)

"Big in Japan" sounds like a Saga retread. Rather a lot like "Wind Him Up".
-
Good set overall IMHO. Definitely represents 1984 music as I remember it -- some really good songs plus many I could do without.

I used to think they were singing "big in your pants"
