There is a fair amount of evidence that her accusation was fake. Domestic violence claims almost always are genuine, which probably explains why his rep as an abuser has stuck with him, much to his chagrin.

true, no charges were ever filed against him. Charges in domestic abuse cases do not have to be filed by the victim. law enforcement can do this, and in this "incident" they did not. I read that page, too. It brings up good points. I personally believe he didn't do it -- probably -- but Like a good pun at a mermaid's expense.
