Renee screws up! What was she playing?
No idea, but the correct song sounds remarkably like the wrong song.
I take that back. This is identifiable as Roxy Music, but I'm not sure about the first one.

I agree, and even though this is Roxy Music I don't take it back.

Iran hostage crisis into Elvis Costello "Oliver's Army"
BOS. Sounding extra good today, and I haven't heard it in quite a while.

Joe Jackson "Sunday Papers"
If you have Elvis, ya gotta have Joe. VHM
Nice work on the bass in this tune.
-
Joe Jackson "Sunday Papers"
BOS2, even if a cow-orker was pestering me during it.

I liked the extended version of the Mr. Microphone commercial. "It's practical". Ummm, OK.

BOS3, "Heartbreaker"

The Cars "It's All I Can Do"
HM. Not one of the more overplayed tunes. Bit of a scheduling error to play "Just What I Needed" last song before the show, though they're not from the same album. Nice Orr vocals.

A good set, I think. And it does sound like Renee is having a good time, which is good.
-
Renee: BOS Suzi Quatro & Chris Norman (by a landslide); VHM Pat Benatar

Missed both the original airing and the replay, but on paper that looks like a pretty decent set. My only gripe is a personal one -- I really don't like that Roxy Music song (and I generally *love* Roxy). Even the Cars tune is one I can live with.
