Evel Kneivel @ Snake River -- and John Chancellor is horrified. If only he could've seen 40 years into the future, he'd've killed himself.
LN: John Lennon.

When was the last time one of the major evening news programs ended with an editorial comment like that one?
-
I'll probably have to bail before this is over... this has been pleasant but not earth-shattering.

Really. That was quite amazing. The day Evel made his jump was also the day Ford pardoned Nixon, iirc.

Very nice set that I missed most of :( but "Time Waits for No One" is sounding awfully good today.

I didn't realize the Dickie Goodman didn't count as a song -- she played the whole thing (OK, it's short) so technically we went to 11 today. Given the headline (she used that reference on FB too) I surely hope she plays Tony Camillo's Bazuka, "Dynomite!" in a 1975 set soon.

I personally would have counted it as the 11th song, but it wasn't listed on KFOG's 10@10 page, and Renee didn't mention it in the backsell.
If Renee doesn't use the Bazuka track in a '75 set, I will! :D

Whaddaya know... it's a long clip that didn't suck! (grin)

Lots of seagull flocks, but no singular birds. It's a bustout.
