Hard to say: could be '00s; could be a 2nd '70s or '90s set; could be an Outside Lands thang. (DING DING DING!)
ETA: Nothing like hearing Renee talk about stomach-bloat.
-
Per FP it's an Outside Lands set. Which means either it'll be full of LNs or surprisingly deep. Or both. Or knowing Renee it might be about the BART squabble.
-
Song #1 is NTM.
And if we get a McCartney tune that isn't "Live & let Die" or "Maybe I'm Amazed" I'll consider it a gift.
-
Or full of songs from KFOG's playlist circa 2012, which describes "Let's Go" by Matt & Kim.

"No More Lonely Nights" would automatically cover for whatever LNs appear.

Matt & Kim "Let's Go"
Midi Matilda "Day Dreams"

Midi Matilda "Day Dreams"
Now this makes me go What The What?
-
For the very first time, 10@10 goes back to the...2010's! Awesome 8)
-
Young The Giant "Cough Syrup"
How many bands in this set will have a similar name (i.e. _____ The ______)?

Midi Matilda "Day Dreams"
Now this makes me go What The What?
indeed -- I mean, points for not being obvious, certainly but casual Fogheads are going, "Huh?"
-
Young The Giant "Cough Syrup"
OTOH, this is one KFOG has played 5 times a day for, like, a year.
-
As Rad points out elsewhere, our first 2010's 10@10.
EDIT: Or as such may be the case, here.
Renee: Putting the 10 in 10@10.

But, before now, I didn't know who did it, or it's name. It's like elevator music to me.
-
WOS Emeli Sande -- can't stand this song, it's fucking EVERYWHERE.
-
Wyatt Cenac (of The Daily Show) standup routine into Emeli Sandé "Next To Me"

I'll say that I like the song, but yeah, it is LN.

Didn't even know H&O were part of the lineup! VHM "ICGFT (NCD)" Fuhgeddaboudit!
-
Daryl Hall & John Oates "I Can't Fo For That (No Can Do)"

Maybe they're not. :o This is Renee after all.
-
How many bands in this set will have a similar name (i.e. _____ The ______)?
One of the more annoying conventions in current pop music nomenclature.
Particularly if they also feel it necessary to punctuate it oddly. (See also: Portugal. The Man, who I am embarrassed to say are from Portland.)
-
Daryl Hall & John Oates "I Can't Fo For That (No Can Do)"
This will supersede "Next To Me" as "most urban of set".

I'm starting a band called Roosevelt. The Island.

I would not be surprised if today's theme was stipulated in APE's ad contract w/ KFOG.

maybe Garfunkel & Oates are performing and she got confused.
-
Female comic (not familiar with who she is) Red Hot Chili Peppers "Higher Ground"
-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! uber-WOS2 RHCPs and one of the least-necessary cover versions evah. Which AL just happened to feature on her "under the covers" segment today.
-
Gary Clark Jr. "Ain't Messin' Around"
-
another KFOG "current": Gary Clark Jr
-
Mr Sofia Coppola makes an appearance.
-
Phoenix "Lisztomania"

Phoenix "Lisztomania"
Someone named a song after a mid-70s Ken Russell film that died in obscurity? Ya learn something every day.
-
I'm assuming the comics in the sound clips are performing at Outside Lands.
Craig Robinson standup routine into Nine Inch Nails "Closer"
ETA: Regarding the comics in the sound clips, yes, they are a part of Outside Lands:

I haven't recognized any of the comedy clips so far.
proxy of Gerg Gory: NIN, his 2nd-fave band after DM.

and yet the lyrics seem to have nothing to do with the film. I guess naming a song after one of Sofia's daddy's flicks woulda been too obvious.
-
I'm assuming Macca closes out the set...
Yep - "Jet"
-
"Jet" -- not much better than the 2 Macca tunes I mentioned earlier, actually.
-
Nothing in this set to make me regret that I'm not attending. BOS, RHCP, just to annoy Mike. 8)

the only good thing about their Stevie cover is that it's not one of their own 2 consistently recycled melodies with horrid lyrics. :)

Yeah, I didn't think you were lobbying for yet another spin of "Under the Bridge" or "Californication." ;)

I knew Lisztomania sounded familiar...
Roger Daltrey in the lead, but I remember this for Ringo Starr as The Pope! ;D

Well, I wanted to listen to 10@10, but they're running a 45-minute commercial for some music festival
instead...

Perhaps it was named after the phenomenon, which predated Beatlemania by 120 years.
