Starred in the detective series Hawaiian Eye and 77 Sunset Strip; he was also a singer (his album Poncie Ponce Sings was released in 1962).

I've never heard of this show, but I'm intrigued.  I do like watching Hawaii Five-O for the locales and "fashions." :)

wow, I'd've guess older than 80 but then my memory of early-'60s TV is hazy.  In British slang, a "ponce" is an effeminate man. Heh.
