Cap'n! it's a Lowenbrau commercial!! Is RR lurking here?
Tina T, "What's Lurve Gotta Do Wit it?" -- always nice but anything else from this LP woulda been sweet.
-
Let it be Lowenbrau into Tina Turner "What's Love Got To Do With It"

Plant sure hasn't let any grass grow under his feet post-Zeppelin. He's visited all sorts of styles in the years since this came out.

BOS1 to an old fave, the delightful Aztec Camera cover of VH's "Jump". Might as well.

No small amount of irony in this one, I loved it too, back when. The perfect antidote to VH's (or should I say DLR's) egotistical bombast.

OK that was some kind of rarity/bustout that was NTM.
LN-ish: Cockburn.
-
Can anyone ID song #4?
Bruce Cockburn "Lovers in a Dangerous Time"
ETA: #4 Dave Gilmour "Blue Light"
-
BOS2 Henley's still-lovely "Month of Sundays" -- no doubt being characterized as "today's snoozy rarity" but it's really an extraordinary song.
-
Don Henley "A Month Of Sundays"
-
Per the GSs, #4 was David Gilmour - Blue Light.
A lot of these are NTM...I don't remember getting them in AL sets. Are they from the Dave era?

A number of them are, but this Henley tune is a bustout, iirc. Who'd a thunk, a Henley tune that I am tempted to BOS?

MJ's burned into John Lennon's "Nobody Told Me"
-
Another pre-DC KFOG staple: John, "Nobody Told Me"
-
LN: Gen'l Public.
-
Another pre-DC KFOG staple: John, "Nobody Told Me"
Probably the most least necessary of the set so far.
-
General Public "Tenderness"
-
Prince "When Doves Cry"
-
uber-uber-LN: Prince.
-
VHM Pope of Greenwich Village. Ditto JJ.

I spoke too soon. Prince takes that title.

If she is, I hope my efforts help to improve her sets! ;)

This is quite a rarity to me. Right now, I can't even hear a sample online to see if I recognize it.

Great song. I recall one day I was in the Cambridge Strawberries (the now-defunct record store
chain) and that song was played... everybody seemed to be swaying in time to the music
while they browsed the racks.
