RR's clue: "Thriller" was released. Technically, very late '82.
But of course, little Miss "release dates are everything" gets it wrong yet again. Sheesh.
TOTHLN: Bowie.

Maybe she meant the single, which was released in '84. Hence, she split the difference: '83! ::)

Always enjoyed this song, but as a Dave-fave of the first order it's not something I've been missing.
-
Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)"
And speaking of songs I haven't missed.
How long has it been since you heard this song? If it's more than 5 days I'd be shocked.

Yes "Owner Of A Lonely Heart"
Only good thing about this song is the title on the LSJUMB tenor sax music: "Owner of a Boring Part".
-
Yes "Owner Of A Lonely Heart"

Renee and her mullet... ah, the memories...

A thoroughly underwhelming set. Should have guessed, after yesterday's above-average effort.
-
Renee sez Def Leppard gets BOS; VHM to Peter Tosh.

::) @ AW's comment about Tokyo Disney. Normally I wouldn't get too offended about stupid comments but this was from the same person who cried racism on Twitch saying the spelling bee champion should win for spelling her (Indian) name.

I completely agree. It's all the more disappointing because, by my estimation, 1983 marks
the approximate peak of New Wave. This should have been at least a good set, and could
have been a great one. It takes a certain talent -- or perhaps lack of it -- to take such a
notable year and produce such a lackluster, LN-y collection.
