The clue is something about Windows 2.1... of course last week the clue pointed to 1990 and she did '89.
-
TOTHK - Robert Palmer "Simply Irresistible"
-
Mr Palmer with the TOTHK. Simply LN-able.
-
Bruce Hornsby "Look Out Any Window"
-
Hornsby with a song that could've easily been covered by Huey Lewis or Bob Seger.

Bruce Hornsby "Look Out Any Window"
Minor hit from the late summer of 88... pleasant enough, and would fit an Earth Day set.

Hornsby's Greatest Hits collection features his version of "Jacob's Ladder" (which he wrote).

OMFG: DC cribs from AL's playbook and gives us Sade's fab "Paradise". A very welcome BOS1.
-
Sade "Paradise"
-
BOS, Sadie.
-
BOS2 "Paradise". Would love to hear "No Ordinary Love" sometime.
-
Guessing that Sade tune is as rare as we get.
I've always loved "Orange Crush" but it's pretty LN at this point.
-
REM "Orange Crush"
-
BOS2 "Paradise". Would love to hear "No Ordinary Love" sometime.
would love to hear her in any year she's "legal". Dave played "Smooth Operator" a few times but this is (I think) the only other song of hers we've heard here -- AL played it and I believe it was a Sunday Gal request at the time.

I think "No Ordinary Love" would qualify for either 92 or 93.
Yeah, "Orange Crush" isn't very adventerous at this point.

REM "Orange Crush"
TANC. When someone mentioned "Jacob's Ladder", I remembered seeing the very odd movie of the same name, which was about a guy having flashbacks (apparently) to his time in Viet Nam. I just read the summary on Wikipedia, and now "Orange Crush" shows up, also about Viet Nam. Weird...
-
VHM Beetlejuice.
Today's (other) snoozy rarity: Crowded House "Into Temptation" -- a bustout?

We also surprisingly got "By Your Side" in a 2000 set. I too would love to hear "No Ordinary Love."
-
AngeLN of HarLNem.
-
U2 "Angel of Harlem"
-
The Crowded House song nearly put me to sleep. :P
-
oy: uber-uber-uber-LN, the Wilburys.
-
Traveling Wilburys "End of the Line"
-
The TraveLNg Wilburys.
-
Steve Winwood "Roll With It" (preceded by The Wonder Years)
-
awww... Wonder Years.
ewww... another uber-uber-uber-LN from Winwood.
-
VHM Jerry Harrison, "Rev it Up", an old Morey fave.
-
Jerry Harrison "Rev It Up"
-
Ziggy's tumbLN down, another Moreytrina.
-
Ziggy Marley "Tumblin' Down"
-
Points for Sade, otherwise this was pretty meh.
-
"Top of the hour cooker" she says? She wouldn't know a Top of the hour Kooker if it bit her in the ass.

Renee was once a Top of the Mark hooker. True story.
-
REM gets BOS per RR who is losing her voice.
-
I'm a little confused; was it or wasn't it '88? I didn't hear the show. Some of the release dates cause confusion.

It was '88.

It's even sadder that this is basically RP ripping off his own earlier hit.

AL has played By Your Side, The Sweetest Taboo, & Cherry Pie.

OBsnark: Well, that should improve the backsell...
