One of the clues given was "When Epcot Opened".
-
JCM TOTHKs so good.
-
oy: I think the plane's down in Africa. Or something. LN1.

a "Sally" of a movie clip: Diner, "don't touch my records, ever!"
-
Awesome clip, Sally or otherwise. I love Diner.
-
VH's cover of "Pretty Woman" is not my fave of theirs.
-
I suspect another KOIT/KBAY centric set.
-
LN2: Mr Ant.
-
Adam Ant is not giving me chills, but at least it's a little more edgy than John Cougar Boyscoutcamp. Very little.
Entirely underwhelming so far. How long must I wait to be whelmed?

This was the peak of the "adult-contempo-ization" of Top 40 radio so here's hoping we avoid Air Supply and the like. The following year Top 40 would be reborn as CHR and MTV would rule.
Square Pegs --> Marshall Crenshaw, who gets a VHM from me, tho' "Someday/way" is far from rare.
-
BOS Split Enz "6 Months/Leaky Boat", a Morey fave.
-
LNs to JC, T, VH, AA, and MC.
-
Split Enz is about as "Haaay!" as this is going to get, methinks.

If they're really culling from old setlists, Laura Branigan is at least a possibilty. Here's hoping.
-
beloved, but LN3 nonetheless: Roxy Music.
-
HM Roxy Music, I suppose.
-
Nothing says "82" to me like Avalon. Love that album, though this track isn't the best.
-
WOS/LN6: Steve Miller Band.

WOS/LN6: Steve Miller Band.
Terrible.

indeed, WOS from me and LN+whatever. I wonder: are there actually Fogheads sitting there saying "ooo! I *love* this one! can't get enuf of it!"?
-
And it appears we're getting the LOOOOOOOOOOOONG version. >:(
-
BOS2 the Jam tho' it's also LN4 imho. They did have other songs in '82.

Yeah, and it's LN7 for me. Only Split Enz and Roxy (but barely) escape that distinction so far. I'm not counting on song 10 to make it 3.

It's all Morey all the time on 10at10 today, folks!
-
uber-uber-LN5: Missing Persons.
-
I love "Words", but it ain't exactly a rarity.

And I think AL played it more times in 3 years than Dave did in 20.
-
Even though it's probably my least favorite Missing Persons single, in the context of today I guess I'll BOS "Words".

I don't think I'd call "Words" good -- Ms Bozzio's kewpie-doll squeaks have not aged well, IMHO.

Terrible.

I loved my dad's made-up lyrics to this, although they fall into the "so bad, it's good" category.
