Title: 28 Dec 2012: it's... 1975
Post by: RGMike on December 28, 2012, 09:38:02 AM
Renee's clue: "Betamax was our VCR of choice and Roy Scheider said 'we're gonna need a bigger boat'"

OK, the Jaws reference indicates 1975 but Betamax? there weren't VCRs in 1975. WTF?

Love it! Because of the below cover. Also, a quick search revealed Emma has gotten three spins -- through 2007.

This synth intro sounds familiar.

ETA: because Venus and Mars/Rock Show has been getting a fair amount of KFOG airplay for a non-obvious oldie.

His new song as lead singer of Nirvana is not bad, either.

I like his vocal on this. Then again, singing with feel was one of his many strengths.
