no clue but Rosalie's still subbing for NayNay.
meanwhile, instead of some current song, we're getting "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" as an extra on the stream. Odd, but pleasing.
Holy crap -- that was part of the set -- she's doing 1964!!!
"Oh prettty Woman" is song 2 (?)

sorry -- the delay between end-of-Morning Show and beginning of 10@10 was way shorter than usual. BOS1 Beatles and I hate to be cranky but the Roy Orbison is kinda LN -- one of the few pre-'65 songs that still gets played on oldies radio these days.
BOS2 Animals.
-
BOS3 Super Supes, "Come See About Me" I love how Diana makes "uncertain a 4-syllable word (un-CER-ta-hun)!
I'm truly gobsmacked by this choice today -- AL did '64 exactly twice early in her tenure and then it disappeared from the rotation.

BOS Beach Boys Gettin' Around...
-
coulda done without "I Get Around". And the Gidget clip is from 1959, actually.
-
BOS4 Stones.
-
Man, but those harmonies still sound so fine...

VHM Mary Wells, tho' it's also one of the most-played oldies evah.
-
wait.. is this an old Morey set repurposed without his intro/outro?
BOS5 Kinks.
-
Kinks are always welcome, despite it being their biggest hit.

I did wonder about that when I heard Don Pardo, but they probably just pulled him out of an old set.

Sure sounds familiar. :-)

VHM the Manfreds, man.

VHM the Manfreds, man.
I'm blaming this on the bossanova.
I wonder if their friends think it's annoying that they keep singing "doo wah diddy diddy dum diddy doo".
-
Woohoo BOS for Them out-punking the Kinks.
-
Baby please don't GOOOOOO!!!
-
Woohoo BOS for Them out-punking the Kinks.
Tuff song... nice.

Tuff song... nice.
Funny think about this single (per Wikipedia) is that this was the A-side. The B-side was...Gloria.

Hey, she said it was Manfred Mann's Earth Band, but it wasn't, was it? They weren't called that until much later, I thought.
-
First song out of the box seems quite Rosalee-like: Norah Jones wondering aloud why she failed to have an orgasm.

understandable deejay slip-up. I thought Goldfinger didn't come out until '65 but apparently I was wrong. Guess the song didn't hit until Jan '65, but the film was released Sept '64. Live'n'learn.
