Is this movie clip from Edward Scissorhands?

Yes, this is Edward Scissorhands.

Yep, that was it. Nice segue into I Would Die 4 U.
ETA: Ack! Make that Nothing Compares 2 U. (All those damn Prince 2 U/4 U songs confuse me.)

HM, Sinead
This is a very pretty song. She looked great in the video, too, shaved head and all.

"The clocks will all run backwards
All the sheep will have two heads
And Thursday Night and Friday will be on Tuesday night instead."

what happened to guitar ballads?
BOS 2, Gary Moore.
-
BOS#2: lenny. i remember being amazed that he played most of the instruments on this album. a little stevie, a little belew.
-
This is actually sounding like a pretty good set. Dave stuck to the singles from the albums he hit--nothing is striking me as a deep album cut--but it's reminding me thet there were some decent records released in 1990.
OT: Wonder if he's sick, or just taking a couple of mental health days?

Just checking in to see what got played (I'm listening to CG) and it sounds like a typical Morey 1990 set to me, but then we know what a crankypants I am, re: the '90s. Apparently Dave IS sick, there's "something going around" at the station, per Renee.

I've probably told this story before, but an employee of mine was playing the album downstairs, and it really seemed to me like Gary was ripping off Peter Green. Turned out the album was dedicated to Peter Green, and that Gary was literally playing Peter's old Les Paul. Next time this song is played, someone stop me from retelling the story!

we did this in church. OK song, seemed to be OK for our feminist music director. Same sentiment of "Through Your Hands" but done by females.

Well, we all have our biases. Pull out an 82/83 set with Men At Work included and I try mine on, too.
Whatever is going around sure worked to Penn Jillette's advantage--he got about 15 minutes of airtime between 8:15 and 8:30 this morning. They played pretty much an entire long phoner he did with Renee and Irish Greg. Amusing, but he essentially said the same thing over and over.

Is he still plugging "The Aristocrats," or is this a different project?

yep, the "Aristocats", as Renee kept calling it. It was a replay of his interview from last week, I believe.
