or so the promo indicates, I'm told.
ETA: heard the promo this morning: "Live Aid, Farm Aid, Breakfast Club, blah blah blah..."
So, how many artists who were at Outside Lands had hits in '85? Stevie Wonder and...

after being on-time recently, we'r back to delayed streaming: I'm getting Shawn Colvin's new one at 10:05.
-
"This is your Woodstock" -- easily one of the most overplayed sound-bites evah.
VHM U2 but I have low expectations today.
-
BOS1 Waterboys, "This is the Sea" -- a rarity if not a bustout, and a nice change from "Whole of the Moon" (much as I love the latter).
-
Proxy of Geoff, Stewart/Beck's "People Get Ready", something of a warhorse at this point but still quite nice.
-
BOS2 "Downtown Train" -- Tom Waits for no man.
-
Remember when "How Soon is Now?" was a serious rarity? Still one of the great songs of the decade. BOS3.
-
obligatory Pee-Wee movie clip.
BOS4 Dead or Alive!

OMFG: BOS5 Mary Jane Girls -- HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
-
Michael Stipe "went out to the ocean with a total stranger in his car..." Oh, really?
LN: REM in Philomath.
-
"Manic Moanday" to (presumably) close things out.
This was much better than expected, I must say.
-
BOS Mary Jane Girls, a welcome surprise.

The only other name that strikes me as being active at the time would be Neil Young.
