OMFG: uber-BOS TTD's fantabulous "If You Let Me Stay" -- why this UK #1 flopped here is a mystery for the ages.

BOS Pixies Gigantic

It does seem more like a Breeders song than Pixies, and not just because of Kim's lyrics. The phrasing is similar to Cannonball.

HM to REM Orange Crush

I know a lot of you don't like REM, but everything up through Green (or just before) is ok with me.

BOS Anna Ng

TMBG at their most tongue-twisted. There's a reason they make kids' albums now. Catchy and silly with songs about topics like Mammals.

I believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, I believe that there oughtta be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astro-turf and the designated hitter, I believe in the 'sweet spot,' voting every election, soft core pornography, chocolate chip cookies, opening your presents on Christmas morning rather than Christmas eve, and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last for seven days.")

Whoa, I missed the double segue, Swaggert->Every Day is Like Sunday. And possibly, even a triple segue with Armageddon It.

I thought this set was awesome.

LN: Wild Wild West. Let's come up with some soundalikes:

Mild Mild Vest
Riled Child Mess
Filed While Quest

Tiled Tiled Rest (room)

Which reminds me of those long ago days when I was a student at SF State.  Many of the restrooms were tiled with small white tiles perfect for punning -- Tile be seeing you, Un-tile we meet again, infant-tile, etc. etc... there were a million of them, each penciled in by ever more "creative" students.  Damn that was a while back - 40yrs and more.

Mine as well. Not only a great baseball film, but a just plain great film. Surprised at some of the things that were edited out of that speech though--"the cock, the pussy" I can understand but chocolate chip cookies?
